Autism and 4 Things You Can Do to Help

3 Contributing Factors in Autism and Nutrition

Autism has no recognized medical cause or remedy. The goal of autism foundations is usually to find a genetic cause, but they haven’t been successful yet.

Nonetheless, a number of contributing factors can be assembled and is known as follows:

  1. A full 93% of autism cases start after a child receives a vaccination according to Dr. Joseph Mercola 1who has treated hundreds of autistic children. He specifically criticizes the hepatitis B vaccine, which is administered to the child on their first day of life. During that period, children’s nervous systems are extremely vulnerable and they lack a developed immune system.

2. In the United States, children under the age of six now receive 49 vaccinations, up from 8 in 1980.

3. Empirical studies show that vaccination reactions seem to be associated with autism, as do possible links to mercury toxicity, leaky gut, and other intestinal dysfunctions.

Auto-antibodies in autistic children

Auto-antibodies, which are found in the blood of only about 5% of normal children, are present in about 80% of autistic children. These auto-antibodies have a connection to viruses like the cytomegalovirus, measles, and mumps.

Mercury in vaccines

Thiomersal, a vaccine containing 49.5% mercury, is present in many vaccines (but not the MMR). The signs of mercury poisoning and autism are extremely similar. Vaccinations have caused children to be exposed to more than 100 times the safe level of mercury for 6-month-olds.

According to a recent study, metallothionein is dysfunctional in 99 percent of children with autism. As a carrier protein, it is needed for the detoxification of mercury, copper, and other metals.

Possible causes of dysfunction

There are two possible causes for the high percentage of dysfunction of metallothionein, a protective protein for heavy metals, DNA damage, and oxidative stress: nutritional imbalances or genetics.

Metals like copper, mercury, and others are transferred from mother to child through the placenta. There is undoubtedly genetic influence, but the father’s influence is less evident.

We are aware that a large number of mothers in today’s society are malnourished and suffer from either overt or covert copper poisoning. It is possible for the children to inherit these imbalances.

The startling rise in autism cases over the previous 20 years cannot be attributed to genetic issues alone. Nutrients activate genes. According to our observations, poor eating habits and shifts in the food supply have resulted in moms and kids being undernourished more now than they were twenty years ago.

Diet Imbalances

Milk protein causes severe allergies in many children with autism2. For many of these kids, strict avoidance of all milk products is advantageous.

Many children with autism also benefit from avoiding gluten and sugar.

Secretin

A strong hormone secretin is produced in the duodenal mucosa and acts on the pancreas where it stimulates the release of bicarbonate and water.

Secretin is often given to autistic children to help neutralize the pH in the duodenum from the very acetic pH in the stomach, allowing digestive enzymes from the pancreas to function optimally.

Hair Analysis and Nutrition

Analysis of the hair, with Trace Elements test and Analytic Research test, reveals that the majority of autistic children have a slow oxidation pattern, low sodium/potassium ratio, and frequently an imbalance in copper. The initial hair test may not always reveal the presence of other toxic metals like mercury.

Low ratios of sodium to potassium in hair analyses are frequently linked to disturbances in digestion. Today, this is made worse by infant formulas made of soy, the use of medications and antibiotics that harm the healthy flora in the intestines, and the combination of antibiotics and other chemicals in food that can alter the flora in the intestines.

Improving absorption and digestion is the first step. Digestive enzymes, probiotics like acidophilus, anti-candida supplements, and dietary adjustments to aid in the digestive system’s reconstruction may be necessary for this.

Programs for nutritional balancing can also help remove excess amounts of copper, mercury, and other metals. Even if metallothionein metabolism is compromised, this can still happen.

Four Strategies

The four simultaneous removal methods of toxic metals by the nutrition programs recommended are as follows:

  • increase energy production through oxidation rate balancing
  • enhance elimination in the organs through diet and supplements
  • supply chelating substances, like vitamin C
  • suggest strategies for lowering metal exposure

Start your process to the nutrition programs recommended by Analytical Research Lab or Trace Elements Lab for the best results to help remove heavy metals as well as restore nutritional balance.
