Shipping costs?  

FREE Shipping within the U.S for all orders $99.00 and over.  

Normal shipping charges are $9.95 for U.S. orders under $99.00

Test kits are shipped free to you for collection of samples in the convenience of your home, and return shipping is FREE.

We currently do not ship supplements internationally.  Most test kits are available for free international shipment.

Do I need my doctor to order my test?   

No, all the tests can be ordered directly by you. 

Are test results sent to me or my doctor?

All the tests results on our website will be sent to you directly by email or US mail.  It is your option, if you want, to share the results with your doctor. Your report will be sent to the email used when ordering, unless we are otherwise notified.

Does the price of tests include interpretation?  

I have specifically selected tests which include comprehensive test reports which include your results and explanations.  These tests will be indicated in the test description. 

After you review your report(s), if you still have questions, I advise a telehealth consult.

What is your privacy policy?

Privacy is very important to us. We have security measures in place to prevent unauthorized people from intercepting your credit card information. The only personal information collected is what you voluntarily give us, and we are the sole owners of the information given on our site. We do not sell, rent or share your information with anyone.  Your medical information is personal and we are committed to protecting it.  Please read our entire privacy policy.

How do I get Health Always coupons or promotion codes?

We offer coupons through our newsletter subscribers.  Sign up for our Newsletter at the bottom of the page.

What is your return Policy?

We do not offer returns for products or test orders once the order is placed. If you have questions on which test(s) to order, please call the office and my nurse Janet will be happy to assist you.

Do you accept insurance?

As a Functional Medicine specialist, I am not a Medicare or Medicaid provider, and do not participate in or accept assignment from any third party insurance plans.

About Insurance Billing

When medical practices bill health insurance companies directly, the doctors are required to become participating providers. The doctors must sign a contract that allows the insurance company to determine which services they will and will not provide and how much they can charge for those services. In general, insurance companies do not place a priority on preventive or wellness services. They are heavily invested in the conventional model of health care that too often rely on drugs, procedures, and surgeries. Most doctors and clinics cope with the requirements of being participating providers by keeping their office visits very brief, so that they can see many patients within a given time frame.

Unfortunately, I have found that I cannot be a participating provider in the insurance networks and provide the time intensive and well researched care that I do. As a physician who practices functional medicine, I am firmly committed to prevention, wellness, and natural solutions to health problems. As such, my practice does not lend itself very well to insurance company policies.
