What is my Blood Glucose level?
Your three-month average blood glucose is reflected in your HbA1c level. If you have a level of 5.7% or higher, it indicates chronically elevated glucose, and may suggest that you are diabetic or pre-diabetic. A healthy HbA1c is less than 5.7%. Dietary and lifestyle changes can help lower and manage elevated HbA1c. After making significant dietary and lifestyle changes, you should observe changes in your HbA1c level when you retest in three months.
