What are your Shipping costs?
FREE Shipping within the U.S for all orders $89.99 and over. Normal shipping charges are $11.95 for U.S. orders under $89.99. Test kits are shipped to you for collection of samples in the convenience of your home, and return shipping is FREE. We currently do not ship supplements internationally. Most test kits are available for free international shipment.
Do I need my doctor to order my test?
No, all the tests can be ordered directly by you.
Are test results sent to me or my doctor?
All the tests on our website will send your results directly to you by email or US mail. It is your option if you want to share the results with your doctor.
Does the price of tests include interpretation?
Dr Ray has specifically selected tests which come with comprehensive test reports that include your results and explanations. These tests will be indicated in the test description. After you review your reports, if you still have questions, a telehealth appointment is available with Dr. Ray for an additional fee.
What is your privacy policy?
Your privacy is very important to us. We have security measures in place to prevent unauthorized people from intercepting your credit card information. The only personal information collected is what you voluntarily give us, and we are the sole owners of the information given on our site. We do not sell, rent or share your information with anyone. What is your return Policy?
We are not able to accept returns for products. Due to the fees we incur after a test order is placed, we are unable to offer refunds, returns or exchanges on test kit orders. See our telehealth cancellation policy for telehealth appointments and services.
Do you accept insurance?
As a Functional Medicine specialist, Dr. Psonak is not a Medicare or Medicaid provider, and does not participate in any 3rd party insurance plans or accept assignment from any other payer.
Why do you not accept Insurance:
When medical practices bill health insurance companies directly, the doctors are required to become participating providers. The doctors must sign a contract that allows the insurance company to determine which services they will and will not provide and how much they can charge for those services. In general, insurance companies do not place a priority on preventive or wellness services. They are heavily invested in the conventional model of health care that too often rely on drugs, procedures, and surgeries. Most doctors and clinics cope with the requirements of being participating providers by keeping their office visits very brief, so that they can see many patients within a given time frame. Unfortunately, I have found that I cannot be a participating provider in the insurance networks and provide the time intensive and well researched care that I do. As a physician who practices functional medicine, I am firmly committed to prevention, wellness, and natural solutions to health problems. As such, my practice does not lend itself very well to insurance company policies.
